CAS> had a very successful day at the recent Analogue To Digital Expo 2012 show held at the Exeter Phoenix Arts Center. Tom Weldon from Kv2 came down to help us man our stand and brought with him the excellent new ESM26 compact floor monitor to show off (amongst other Kv2 products) demonstrating a superb low end response from a double 6″ speaker which is even more surprising considering its size. They generated a lot of interest as did the Numark DJ controllers we had on display. A joint effort on the Allen & Heath front as we displayed some of our iLive products and the new Allen & Heath GLD digital console was displayed on the Audio Technica stand which seems sure to be a winner. Looking forward to A2D 2013!!
At CAS> we recently had the chance to fly our KV2 ES system at Exeter’s Westpoint Arena. We don’t often get the opportunity to do this so it was a good chance to put our Kv2 ES 1.0′s about 7 mtrs in the air and turn them up to show that Line Array isn’t necessarily the only option for flown systems. The system was set up primarily for speech with a few Subs (Kv2 ES 2.6 & ES 1.8) thrown in for impact during the playback interludes. With the increasingly great results we have had with the KV2 systems in our hire stock we continue to look forward to putting them into as many scenarios as possible.
CAS> have just spent the last couple of evenings providing Audio & AV services for Howard Marks. Famous for a few things (most of them illegal it has to be said!) he has more recently provided the storyline for the film, MR Nice, starring Ifan Rhys based on the autobiographical Howard Marks book Mr Nice.
On the road again promoting his new fiction Novel, he provided the anecdotes and we provided the Audio and Projection equipment for his Plymouth and Wadebridge events.
Clockwork Audio Systems have just taken delivery of a new KV2 ES system consisting of two ES 1.0′s and four ES 2.6 double 15″ subs with two rack mounted Epak 2500 Amplifiers. This system compliments our existing KV2 ES systems and our existing ES 1.8 single 18″ s which now have four of the additional fat sounding ES 2.6 subs as companions. Roll on festival season………

On Thursday 2nd February we proudly hosted the Martin Rodashow for the second time and once again it was a resounding success. A record number of visitors attended to see the latest innovations from the world leading manufacturer. The shop was filled with all the latest Martin lighting wizardry including the award winning Mac Aura which was a great source of interest as was the latest EC10 LED video panel. We would like to say thank you to all those who attended on the day and we hope that you enjoyed the chance to see the latest Martin products and to meet the Clockwork Audio team. We would also like to say a big thank you to Mark & Chris from Martin Professional for bringing the Roadshow to Plymouth and for their hard work on the day. We look forward to welcoming them back in the future.
Plymouth’s splendid Devonport Guildhall played host to a night of Acoustic Acts where we handled sound & light for Co Headliners Vince Freeman and Levi Weaver. Support came from favourite local acousticians of the Guitar variety Joe Biddle (pictured above in Blue) and Peter Crawford.
